Previously sleep studies were performed overnight in a hospital; however a sleep monitoring device can now be easily taken home for your comfort and convenience. The device is simple to use and sleep with.

Sleep studies measure and evaluate the parameters of your sleep. They record a variety of different body functions during sleep, including:

• Electrical activity in the brain

• Eye movement

• Muscle activity

• Heart Rate

• Breathing and Air Flow through the nose and mouth

• Blood oxygen levels

These results are then evaluated by a sleep physician and the presence and severity of Obstructive Sleep Apnoea is diagnosed. The Sleep monitoring device can then be returned easily the next day.
